The story behind Sunset Hotel
In 2025, Sunset Hotel was born - the spirited sister of Moonshine Vintage. Inspired by the places, objects and stories that make you want to stay a little longer, Sunset Hotel isn’t really a place you check into. It’s a feeling. A state of mind.
The collection grew from a fascination with the south of France and the Côte d’Azur - the faded glamour of old hotels, striped awnings, 70s interiors, little ateliers and the particular kind of light that seems to make everything feel like a memory.
We kept thinking about the people who passed through these places. Artists working from small studios in the hills, painters in Aix, and the musicians and rock ’n’ roll crowd who came to the Riviera in search of a little sun, freedom and anonymity.
At places like La Colombe d’Or in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, artists once stayed in exchange for paintings - the walls slowly filling with the people who had passed through. It was a world where art, hospitality and everyday life were never quite separate.
That spirit is at the heart of Sunset Hotel. A collection of handmade ceramics, woven baskets, tableware, homewear and souvenirs - inspired by the things you might find in a favourite hotel, an artist’s atelier or a little shop somewhere along the coast, and want to take home with you.
