Ossie Clark moss crêpe 1970s gown
ITEM INFO
the most dreamy late 1960s (wedding) dress by Ossie Clark - the same design is held in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum.
created during his iconic collaboration with Alice Pollock for Quorum, this piece features dramatic bishop sleeves that billow above softly cinched wrists and an attached tie that wraps to define the waist (wear it knotted front or back). cut in fluid moss crêpe with self-covered buttons, unlined and slipping effortlessly over the head.
condition: the bodice had some delicate thinning to the fabric (minor wear to the weave), so our seamstress carefully added white backing behind it. beautifully restored and now slightly less sheer through the body.
pure romantic couture energy!SIZING
